Stained Concrete
Color manipulation can be achieved with most of the surface solution products that we offer, but where concrete staining sticks out is in its ability to penetrate and absorb into the concrete surface while also revealing a translucent appearance to the character of your floor. Think of it as adding a tint of color that will vary throughout the floor rather than a topical, monolithic color that looks more uniform. Staining can also be beautifully added in the form of stencil. From adding your company logo to the polished concrete in your lobby to stenciling in directions to the hotel pool, staining can transform your concrete floor into your own custom work of art.

Sealed Concrete
Sealed Concrete can vary greatly because of the myriad products that we use in the sealing process. Most typically, we begin by grinding to the desired level of aggregate, just like in concrete polishing. Once a desired aggregate exposure is achieved, we leave the “scratches” from the grind in order to produce a profile on the surface of the concrete enabling the sealer to form a stronger bond with the concrete surface, promoting better adhesion. Most sealers that we use in the “Grind and Seal” arena are some form of epoxy and mostly clear for cases in which our desired effect is to bring about the look of polished concrete at a fraction of the cost. Sealed concrete is also often done in large warehouses and in other high-traffic work areas where floor strength and protection are valued over appearance.
Benefits
- Lower cost (in most cases when compared to polished concrete)
- Better protection from chemical spills and staining
- Low-maintenance
- Shorter project labor times
